Betty Who is back!
I’ve been patiently waiting for new Betty music and it’s finally here! “All of You” was well worth the wait and is the perfect extension to Betty’s previous releases and maintains her catchy, 80’s pop-inspired sound.
If you haven’t heard Betty Who’s EP, The Movement, give it a listen here!
Check out Peter Thomas’ “All of You” featuring Betty Who.
I loved this song and the group the second they started performing during the 2013 Victoria Secret Fashion Show.
Neon Jungle is a British girl group that hasn’t quite made it in the United States yet. Hopefully their performance during the 2013 Victoria Secret Fashion Show will create buzz and earn them some notoriety.
I’m a fan! I already can’t get enough of this song.
Check out Neon Jungle’s “Trouble.”
Lily Allen is back!
I fucking love her ‘don’t-give-a-fuck’ attitude, in addition to her catchy tunes. I mean… “Forget your balls and grow a pair of tits.” Best. Lyrics. Ever.
Check out Lily Allen’s new song “Hard Out Here.”
Of all the late night hosts, Jimmy Kimmel is by far my favorite.
He’s funny. And his skits are really funny.
Check out Jimmy Kimmel’s latest skit, Mean Tweets.
I couldn’t understand most of what they were saying the first time I listened, but I immediately liked the beat and flow of the song. After a few more listens (and a deep dive into the lyrics), the song really grew on me.
I think my boyfriend was pretty proud of himself for introducing me to something new that isn’t Britney. He did well.
Check out The 1975’s “Chocolate.”
I liked “Roar.”
I didn’t like “Dark Horse.”
I love “Walking On Air.”
Of the three singles currently released from Katy’s forthcoming album, PRISM, “Walking On Air” is by far my favorite. It’s got an infectious beat with catchy verses.
I’m actually really looking forward to Katy’s new album.
Check out Katy’s “Walking On Air.”
Also, check out Katy’s “Dark Horse.”
Katy’s third studio album, PRISM, will be released on October 22.
I don’t hate it… That’s all I’ll say.
Check out Miley’s “23.”
Britney Spears‘ new song is finally here and… It’s amazing!
I will admit that I am very bias, but I have a feeling this will do very well on the charts and impact the future of pop music. It’s Britney, bitch… She’s a legend.
Check out Britney’s “Work Bitch.”
I first fell in love with Cher Lloyd when she auditioned for the X Factor in the United Kingdom. She owned the stage with pure confidence and sass. I liked her debut album, Sticks & Stones, and am excited for what she puts out next.
Check out Cher’s new single “I Wish.”
And just in case you haven’t seen it, check out her X Factor audition with “Turn My Swag On.”
I’m seeing Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony on Saturday at the Best Buy Theater in New York City.
I’m upset with myself for not discovering Kacey Musgraves sooner than I have because she’s really, really good!
I first heard (and saw) Kacey on this years broadcast of the Country Music Awards Music Festival in Nashville. She reminded me of a dirtier, edgier Taylor Swift, which is definitely a good thing. She seems like she’d be fun to hang out and get wasted with.
Check out Kacey’s performance of “Blowin’ Smoke” from the CMA Music Festival.
Also, check out Kacey’s official music videos for “Blowin’ Smoke” and “Merry Go ‘Round.”
Kacey’s album, Same Trailer Different Park, is available now.
For those in New York, she’ll be performing at The Bowery Ballroom on September 19. Tickets are $20 and on sale now.
