Happy National Sake Day!

I was recently invited to celebrate the one year anniversary of Koi at Trump SoHo with an intimate dinner and sake pairing for a 25-plus group of bloggers, editors and influencers.

Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted with The Big Apple, a tasty fall cocktail made with sake, in the Lounge Bar before being brought upstairs to the Library for a brief meet-and-greet with one another. Of all the spaces we saw, the Library (which has a fireplace!) was definitely my favorite.

Editors, bloggers and influencers… Oh my! Dining in the Private Dining Room.

We were then brought into the Private Dining Room where Executive Chef Richard Lee, Executive Sushi Chef Nobuhira Hamazaki and General Manager Justin Gonzalez walked us through each course and paired sake.

Overall, the menu was a perfect overview and introduction to some of Koi’s signature dishes, including Koi Crispy Rice. Everything was delicious and nicely paired. I would highly recommend Koi at Trump SoHo. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the food is amazing.

Oh, and…

HAPPY NATIONAL SAKE DAY!

In celebration of National Sake Day, visit Koi SoHo and treat yourself to The Big Apple.

The newly introduced specialty cocktail is the perfect combination of fall flavors (apple and cinnamon) with a healthy serving of sake. It’s not too sweet. It’s not too strong. It’s just right.

Koi SoHo is located inside Trump SoHo at 246 Spring Street in SoHo.
